The ministry is seeking an Information Administrator to support the management and disclosure of electronic evidence for SIRT investigations. The ideal candidate is organized, detailfocused, able to manage sensitive material, and comfortable working with digital systems in a fastpaced environment. Candidates must be able to travel on short notice, occasionally view disturbing evidence, and obtain enhanced security clearance.
Key knowledge and skills include understanding disclosure law and practices, proficiency with digital evidence and major case management systems, and strong analytical, organizational, and communication abilities. Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat Pro, Microsoft Office, and tools such as Axon Evidence or RMS is important. The required background is normally gained through a legal assistant, paralegal, or information management diploma or equivalent experience in law enforcement or prosecution settings.
If space allows, responsibilities include managing, vetting, and disclosing digital evidence; preparing indexed disclosure packages; administering investigative records under the MCM model; completing qualityassurance reviews; maintaining databases; providing technical support; assisting during deployments; liaising with justice partners; and ensuring secure transfer of information.
