Description

The Outlook Housing Authority (OHA) is seeking a new full-time Manager to lead a portfolio of approximately 118 housing units, including 79 senior units, 12 affordable units, and 27 family units. With a team of 3 direct reports, and an annual Operating and Modernization & Improvement Expenditure budget of $635,000, this role works closely with Regional Operations to manage a property and program services portfolio on behalf of Saskatchewan Housing Corporation.    

Responsibilities & Requirements:    
- Oversight of the properties and assets including developing and maintaining plans and policies.
- Ensuring efficient and respectful delivery of safe and secure housing services and programs and developing partnerships with community agencies.  
- Manage tenant concerns, appeals, evictions, and complaints.
- Develop annual budgets and ensure the tender process and management of contracted services are compliant with policy.  
- Ensure solid employee relations, training, performance, and adherence to policy.  
- Provide leadership, guidance, recommendations, and support to the Board to enable sound decision making.  

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate has a background in business, social work, psychology, human services, or a similar field and has some related experience.  An equivalent combination of education and experience will certainly be considered!  

You enjoy working with people, embrace diversity, and communicate effectively.  Supervisory and board experience, familiarity working with Microsoft Office Suite are assets.  Some out of town travel is required.  A valid SK drivers license, reliable vehicle, and an acceptable Enhanced (Vulnerable Sector) criminal record check are conditions of employment.
