Facility: Samaritan Place
Status: Full-time Permanent
Shift Information: Days, Evenings, Weekends, Standby
Hours of Work: 5 shifts of 7.5 hours per week

Samaritan Place, an Emmanuel Health organization, provides long-term care to over 100 residents. In tradition of Catholic social justice teaching and service, we respond to the unmet needs of the vulnerable and the communities we serve through compassionate innovative service and partnerships.

The Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM) provides frontline clinical leadership and operational support for the daily delivery of resident care within Samaritan Place. The CNM ensures care is delivered according to professional nursing standards, organizational policies, and regulatory requirements. The role focuses on supporting LPN clinical decision-making, addressing complex resident situations, mentoring staff, and ensuring compliance with care standards and documentation expectations. The CNM is responsible for nursing on-call support in a rotation with other nursing leaders.

The CNM functions as a clinical leader and resource for the care services team. The role operates within a long-term care environment supporting residents with complex medical, cognitive, and behavioral needs. The CNM works closely with the care services team, and collaborates with interdisciplinary partners to ensure safe, effective and compassionate care.

Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent.
Current registration and good standing with the Saskatchewan nursing regulatory body.

Experience:

Experience in long-term healthcare or gerontology preferred
Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
