Description

Emerald Park Home Hardware is looking to grow our team and is seeking for (1) Lumber Yard Associate, FT Permanent.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

-Load/unload materials, manually and via forklift and/or pallet jack.  
-Identify & assist customers with information and help in gathering and loading orders.
-Keep the yard clean and the inventory neat & orderly.
-Be familiar with the location(s) of all inventory and equipment.
-Receive incoming materials, matching products to their bill of ladings.
-Gather and load materials for outgoing deliveries.
-Assist customers in handling large or heavy items.
-Restock lumber bins, sheds, etc. when they are depleted.
-Be aware of theft and take action, in line with company policy, to report or discourage it.
-Work on additional duties and assignments as assigned by management.

Qualifications:
-Must be able to lift 50lbs or more.
-Must have valid drivers license.
-Forklift experience is an asset, however, we will also provide in-house training.
-Must be able to communicate effectively with customers, management and employees.
-Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
-Preference will be given to candidates with relevant experience.
