MGBHLM First Nation is looking for a qualified Casual Medical Taxi Driver who will be working under the supervision of the Medical Transportation Coordinator.

Qualifications:
The ideal person must be punctual and display a manner that is always courteous friendly and helpful. They must conduct themselves in a manner that displays respect, responsibility and alertness at all times.
Must possess a valid class 4 drivers license
Must have a clean drivers abstract with no pending or current insurance restrictions
Must have good communication skills
Must display a character of patience, calmness and courteousness
Must possess or be willing to undergo certification in First Aid and CPR before commencement of employment
Must be willing to take direction
Must have the ability to maintain strict confidentiality

Position Functions:
12hr shifts
Conduct a daily vehicle inspection and complete the daily inspection log
Maintain and submit weekly accurate up to date records of detailing fuel purchases, incident reports, accident reports, vehicle condition reports and other records that may be requested
Pick up clients and designate locations and transport them to their desired medical locations
Maintain secure handling of all documents
Ability to operate a special need equipped van (IE. Vehicle chair lift)
Communicate with medical transportation coordinator prior to leaving each location to receive any instructions and or changes
