Central Plains Co-operative Ltd. is recruiting for a Seasonal Student Agronomist for our Rosetown, Landis, or Plenty location. This role would be ideal for an Agricultural student.

The successful applicant will be dedicated to outstanding customer service, have excellent communication skills and have the ability to work independently as well as a member of a highly motivated team. Some heavy lifting is required.


Duties will include but not limited to:
Assisting with field scouting and agronomy duties
Assisting with product shipping and receiving
Merchandising
Delivery and pickups at farms or other locations
Loading & unloading chemical and other agro products
Assisting customers
Housekeeping and yard maintenance duties
Other duties as required


Candidates must possess a valid class 5 drivers license and be willing to work weekends. Forklift certification and G endorsement would be considered an asset .

This position requires heavier lifting and extensive time working outdoors. Training will be provided to obtain TDG, WHMIS, and Forklift certifications.
