We are looking for an experienced bookkeeper to oversee and reconcile financial transactions. We are
looking for an enthusiastic and reliable staff member who is looking for both a challenging and
rewarding career in our organization. Operations consist of a gym, medical clinic, medical conferences,
construction, farming and rental properties (commercial and residential).
The roles and responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Timely posting of bank transactions
Calculate and prepare payroll records
Preparing payroll, GST and PST remittances
Updating, maintaining and preparing the general ledger and trial balance
Account reconciliation to assert the accuracy of transactions
Assist in planning and coordinating project management activities
Requirements and skills:
At least one year of Canadian bookkeeping experience
Knowledge of Quickbooks Online and Sage50
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
Ability to work independently
Experience in Project Management and construction industry preferred
Attention to detail
Deliver work with a high level of accuracy within tight deadlines
Sound understanding of accounting practices
Professionalism and organization skills
