The Regina Open Door Society (RODS) is a non-profit organization that provides settlement and integration services to refugees and immigrants in Regina. RODS is committed to meeting the needs of newcomers by offering programs and services that enable them to achieve their goals and participate fully in the larger community.

The Regina Open Door Society Inc. is seeking a qualified individual to staff the Full-Time term position of KidsFirst Home Visitor. The position will start immediately. The term is until May 31,2026 (with possibility of extension)

Position Description
The primary responsibility of this position is to provide ongoing intensive supportive services primarily through home visits to assigned immigrant and refugee families.

Primary Responsibilities
Encourage and promote self-sufficiency in all families
Provide services to families before and after the birth of a baby
Schedule and conduct home visits as determined by the KidsFirst Weighted Caseload Level Definition and utilizes the Growing Great Kids curriculum during home
visits. Encourages and assists families in keeping an on-going file of home visit plans and follow up activities
