The Saskatchewan Association of Watersheds (SAW) is a non-profit environmental organization that delivers programs to protect, improve, and sustain ground and surface water quality across Saskatchewan.
We are seeking a motivated and personable Project Coordinator to support SAWs rural groundwater testing project and agriculture stewardship program, the Saskatchewan Watersheds Environmental Agriculture Program. This role involves contacting landowners to promote programs and schedule water sampling.
This is a full-time, 5-month contract position based in Moose Jaw, SK, running from April 15 to September 15, 2026. The role is Monday to Friday, up to 40 hours per week, with a wage of $20.00 $25.00 per hour based on experience.
Duties:
Contact landowners by phone to introduce SAW programs
Explain program benefits and encourage participation
Answer questions and address concerns professionally
Schedule appointments for rural water sampling
Maintain accurate records of calls and responses (Excel)
Represent SAW in a professional manner
Qualifications:
Background in agriculture or knowledge of agricultural practices
Comfortable speaking with agricultural producers
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Organized with attention to detail
Proficient in Microsoft Excel or spreadsheets
Able to work independently
Customer service, sales, or outreach experience is an asset
