37.5 hours per week evenings and weekend availability
The Upstander Education Coordinator is responsible for the planning, delivery, and evaluation of YWCA Regina's Upstander programming, a gender-based violence prevention initiative designed to engage men, boys, and community members through transformative, strengths-based education. Rooted in trauma-informed practice, community accountability, and gender equity, the program fosters empathy, challenges harmful norms, and builds the skills and confidence necessary to be an Upstander - someone who safely intervenes in situations of harm.
This role oversees the delivery and development of Upstander, Upstander in School, and Girl Space a confidence- and self-esteem-building program for middle-years students. Programming is delivered in-person, virtually, and through a learning management system (LMS), across Regina and rural communities.
Under the direct supervision of the Assistant Director of Community Programs, the Coordinator is responsible for ensuring program quality and consistency, supervising facilitators and volunteers, and building strong community relationships to support gender-based violence prevention across the province.

>Lived experience or direct knowledge of issues affecting Indigenous, 2SLGBTQIA+, racialized, or newcomer communities.
>Experience delivering culturally responsive programming or working in partnership with Indigenous organizations.
>Familiarity with community accountability frameworks and bystander intervention models.
