These term positions are based in the Nipawin and Melfort offices and focus on delivering childrens services using the P.R.I.D.E. Model and the Family Centered Case Management Model of practice. Candidates must possess a Bachelor of Social Work or Bachelor of Indigenous Social Work from an accredited university, or a Human Service degree or Social Work Certificate with relevant related experience. Accepted human service degrees include sociology, psychology, education, human justice, Indigenous studies, or nursing disciplines. Strong knowledge of multicultural beliefs and values, particularly First Nations and Metis, along with an understanding of poverty, systemic barriers, risk assessment, and case planning is essential. A valid Saskatchewan drivers licence is required, as the role includes travel, flexible hours including evenings or weekends, and transporting children or parents.
