Currently, we are looking to hire a Drafting Technologist to work with our team in Regina.
Summary:
As a member of our Engineering Team, this position is responsible for performing a variety of office and onsite project work associated with existing client facilities.

This position is responsible for providing design drawings, drafting support and other related CAD duties to support assessments and capital projects on our Client's existing facilities.

Accountabilities:
Develop facility drawings in CAD based on onsite measurements and assessments.
Develop detail drawings for roof replacement, building envelope, and fall protection projects in CAD in conjunction with the design team.
Collaboration with design team to ensure accuracy of drawings.
Work with the Project Team to solve project related issues collectively with the contractor and the client.
Conduct field assessments for roofing and building envelope systems including: measuring, drawing, intrusive testing, identifying deficiencies, and preparing inspection and condition assessment reports.
Assist in preparation of design documents on an as needed basis.
Work with clients/organizations of up-coming projects.

Qualifications:
Minimum of three (3) years of CAD of drafting experience in consulting or construction fields.
In depth knowledge of CAD and Microsoft Office software is essential.
An ability to take direction, work independently, and as a team.
Strong knowledge in commercial building development.
Strong Organizational, time & task management skills.
Ability to travel as required to perform duties.
