RMIS Engineering, based in Saskatchewan, is a professional engineering consulting firm specializing in roofing and building envelope systems. The company provides comprehensive services, including inspections, project management, and maintenance across remote and urban areas within Saskatchewan. RMIS focuses on delivering cost-effective solutions that help clients manage risks and maintain their systems' performance throughout their lifecycle.

The Technologist will assist with inspections, condition assessments, leakage investigations, and project management of roofing/building envelope projects. Responsibilities include supporting project management, preparing technical reports, conducting site audits, and using specialized tools for diagnostics.

Accountabilities
Completes assessments, evaluations, and analysis to support the development of condition assessments, capital assessments, and project designs for roof replacement, and building envelope replacement/repairs.
Develop cost estimates for identified capital replacement and/or repair recommendations.
Developing technical reports regarding identified issues and recommendations.
Investigating and developing technical solutions for correcting issues identified through the inspection process.
Conducting field quality assurance observations on capital repair or replacement projects to determine compliance to contract specifications.
Completing onsite testing of building envelope installations in accordance with testing standards and equipment.
Management of the project communication and reporting process to ensure accurate reporting of project issues.

Qualifications
Technical expertise in inspections, condition assessments, and project management
Competence with tools and technologies used for moisture scans, diagnostics, and reporting would be an asset
Understanding of roofing and building envelope systems
Strong communication skills
Able to Travel
