Description

Bourgault Industries is looking for a Systems Administrator. The successful candidate would be responsible for providing foundational support for the IT Infrastructure and Cyber Security teams and plays a critical role in maintaining the day-to-day functionality of the IT environment.

Responsibilities:
-Administer, maintain, and support Windows Server environments
-Manage and support Active Directory, Group Policy, and user access controls
-Maintain and monitor virtualization platforms and server hardware
-Support backup, recovery, and storage systems to ensure data integrity and availability
-Provide general network support including troubleshooting connectivity and performance issues
-Perform enterprise-level troubleshooting and root cause analysis across infrastructure systems
-Contribute to infrastructure projects, upgrades, and system implementations
-Create and maintain clear technical documentation and operational procedures
-Collaborate with internal teams to support business and IT initiatives

Required Qualifications:
-3-7 years of experience in systems administration or infrastructure operations
-Strong hands-on experience with:
-Windows Server environments
-Active Directory and Group Policy
-Virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V)
-Server hardware and lifecycle management
-Backup and storage solutions
-Basic networking (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP)
-Proven experience in troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues
-Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
-Strong communication and documentation skills
