The Role
Cameco is looking for a highly skilled and motivated manager, supply chain governance within our supply chain department. This role willbe responsible for managing a team of specialists, annual planning for supply chain operations, driving risk management, reporting, and ensuring adherence to quality management standards. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to ensure that all enterprise systems are aligned with business objectives and that key performance indicators are consistently met.
In this role, you will:
-Establish and enforce governance standards for system usage, ensuring compliance with internal policies, industry regulations, and best practices.
-Lead the development and implementation of a robust quality management system for the supply chain function while ensuring adherence to company standards and regulatory requirements.
-Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on improving system functionality, user adoption, documentation, and overall performance.
-Further develop, implement, and maintain a risk management framework for the supply chain function by proactively identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies to minimize impact on operations.
-Define, monitor, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of supply chain operations.
-Ensure alignment of KPIs with business goals and strategic objectives while adjusting targets as necessary to reflect changes in the operating environment.
