Overview:
The City of Humboldt is currently seeking to fill a Permanent, Part-time Customer Service Representative based at the Humboldt Uniplex. This position will be scheduled between 15 and 30 hours per week.
Reporting to the Event Services Manager, this position will work as part of a team of Administrative staff members within the Humboldt Uniplex. The Administration team is responsible for many of the day-to-day core functions of the department and works closely with Management and other facility staff.
The position provides customer services including, but not limited to, receiving admissions, registrations, and rental bookings, and responding to public inquiries. The position will assist in maintaining records and files for the department and provide support services for the department operations.
This position consists of a rotating 4-week schedule of evening and weekend shifts.
Qualifications:
- Certificate or Diploma in Office Administration or a related field of study.
- Proficiency in Computer Software; booking programs, registration programs, word processing, spreadsheets, and accounting
- Strong Analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to provide recording keeping, administration and filing.
- Team player with excellent communication and customer service skills
- Satisfactory Criminal Record Check
Compensation:
- This is an in-scope (union) position with a starting wage of $21.64/hr (2025 rate)

- Hours of work will be primarily evening and weekend shifts
