Site Foreman
Position Summary
The Site Foreman is responsible for running job sites across Saskatchewan. This role leads a small crew, operates equipment (primarily skid steer), coordinates daily site activities, and ensures projects are completed to company standards and safety requirements.
The Site Foreman is the company's representative on site and is expected to lead by example, maintain productivity, and communicate clearly with the Project Manager, crew members, and customers when required.
Key Responsibilities
Run day-to-day operations on construction sites.
Read and understand site drawings, layout, and project plans
Coordinate site logistics, materials, equipment, and subcontractors
Communicate progress, issues, and schedule changes to Project Manager
Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites
Complete site documentation
Crew Leadership
Lead and supervise a small crew (typically 2-4 workers)
Assign daily tasks and ensure productivity
Train and mentor crew members
Enforce company policies and safety procedures
Conduct toolbox/safety meetings as required
Equipment Operation
Operate skid steer and other equipment safely and efficiently
Load/unload equipment and materials
Ensure equipment is properly maintained and reported if damaged
Qualifications Required:
Positive Attitude
Class 5 with G Endorsement or Class 1
Highly experienced in skidsteer operation
Experience leading a small crew
Construction/site experience
Ability to read drawings and site layouts
Strong problem-solving skills
Good communication skills
