Description

As a full-time Financial Advisor working Tuesday - Saturday at our Kensington branch in Saskatoon, you are responsible for understanding our members financial goals and supporting their achievement through the provision of sound financial advice. This includes the offering and fulfillment of financial services and products to new and existing non-portfolio aligned members.

How You'll Spend Your Time:
- Proactively identify members financial goals and provide advice and solutions to support their achievement
- Provide account, investment and lending products, within scope of position, to meet member needs
- Conduct proactive outreach activities to educate members and prospective members on the value and function of our products and services
- Increase retention and expansion of member relationships by referring members to appropriate subject matter experts, based on needs, and follow-up to ensure member satisfaction
- Ensure healthy balance between opportunity & risk and between growth & profitability
- Positively represent Conexus externally to support the growth of our membership and to enhance credit union system support and collaboration

Your Experience:
1 to 2 years of Financial Industry Experience in an Advisory Capacity
Experience in a Sales position is considered an asset
Experience in portfolio management
Completion of or working towards the Financial Planner and Personal Financial Services Advice designations
Investment Funds in Canada (IFIC) is considered an asset
