Affinity Animal Hospital Martensville
Location: Martensville, SK
Job Type: Part-time
Schedule: Weekends (Saturdays, Sundays) and some weekdays

Position Overview:
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and motivated --individual to join our team as a Receptionist / Veterinary Assistant. This role combines front-desk responsibilities as well as hands-on clinical support. The position is part time and can later be full time.

Key Responsibilities
Reception Duties:
-Office duties such as organizing, photocopying, scanning and faxing
-Greet clients and patients in a warm, professional manner
-Answer phone calls: schedule and confirming appointments, and manage inquiries
-Process payments and maintain accurate client records
-Handle emails and general administrative tasks
Veterinary Assistant Duties:
-Assist veterinarians and technicians during exams and procedures
-Restrain animals safely and compassionately
-Clean and prepare exam rooms and equipment
-Support basic animal care (feeding, walking, monitoring)
-Husbandry duties such as: Cleaning dishes, laundry kennels etc.
-Qualifications
-Education; Grade 12
-VOA certificate is an assist
-Previous experience in a veterinary clinic or customer care
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills
-Ability to multitask in a medium-paced environment
