Description

Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of Full-Time Assistant Team Leader onsite at our Cornerstone Convenience Store/Gas Bar in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan.

What You Will Do:
Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operatives vision, mission, and safety principles to make a difference in members lives, with a strong customer focused approach.
Provide an exceptional customer experience at all touch points through various communication channels.
Build and lead a high-performance team that delivers on budgeted targets by maximizing operational efficiency.
Lead the Convenience Store team in providing quality service and convenience.
Ensure inventories are managed and protected in compliance with management standards and practices to maintain high levels of accuracy and minimal loss.
Provide superior leadership to team members through coaching, mentoring, performance management and feedback.
Become familiar with and adhere to Lake Country Co-op policies such as selling of age restricted items and all government regulations relating to tobacco, lottery and fireworks.
Oversee the completion of daily reports, reconciliations, and purchases.
Champion the Asset Protection and Safety Management systems, policies, procedures.
Ensure the department is displaying, stocking, and rotating merchandise as per company policy and standard with a focus on maintaining image and brand standards.
Perform minor repairs to assets as required.
Perform all other duties as required.
You are available for day travel and some overnight travel to attend seminars, meetings, training programs for other operational purposes.
You can fulfill the physical job requirements, standing, working outside and inside, lifting up to 25 lbs.
You have a flexible work schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
A valid Class 5 drivers license is preferred.
