The La Ronge Regional Housing Authority is currently looking for a permanent, part-time (20 hours per week) Building Services Worker to join their team in Stony Rapids!  

The Position:
- Deliver building maintenance services and repairs
- Unit turnover repairs
- Groundskeeping, and maintaining housing authority equipment and inventory
- Record keeping, such as inventory and purchase orders, etc.  

Responsibilities and Requirements:
- Knowledge of the basic techniques employed in a variety of trades including carpentry, plumbing, painting, flooring, and electrical
- Experience servicing and repairing building mechanical equipment
- Ability to use hand and power tools and lift heavy loads
- Knowledge in the trades including carpentry, plumbing, heating, mechanical, painting, electrical, and groundskeeping work

Qualifications:
- Grade 12 education, basic computer skills, training in the trades along with hands on experience in a maintenance and repair OR an equivalent combination is required.
- Self-motivated with the ability to handle stress, while prioritizing workloads and respecting peoples diversity and individual differences
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to participate in an on call program for emergencies for evening, weekend, and holiday coverage
- A valid drivers license, reliable, roadworthy vehicle, and an approved Enhanced (Vulnerable Sector) criminal record check are conditions of employment
