Description

We are currently seeking a full-time experienced Maintenance Technician to oversee the daily maintenance operations of our multi-family apartment building in Saskatoon.

What Youll Be Doing

Reporting to the Property Manager, the Maintenance Technician is responsible for all maintenance duties for our multi-family residential rental properties, including acting as the first point of contact for tenant maintenance requests, conducting preventative maintenance including performing routine building inspections, and general grounds maintenance. Your focus will be to troubleshoot and diagnose maintenance requests while ensuring excellent service, positive interactions and a safe environment for tenants at all of our rental properties.

Key areas of responsibility include:

Coordinate and oversee regular building maintenance and repairs

Conduct routine inspections of all building systems to ensure they are in working order

Respond to maintenance requests by tenants and resolve problems/issues

Repair and restore units to their original condition after tenants have moved out

Maintain inventory of equipment and tools and keep in good working order

Maintain and monitor an outdoor pool during the summer months

How Youll Succeed

You have maintenance experience working in multi-family rental properties and have the ability to troubleshoot minor repairs in a variety of fields. Your excellent communication skills will play a key role in this position as you provide extraordinary customer service to our tenants and coordinate repair work with vendors. You are a critical thinker, can solve complex problems and possess organizational skills. You have the ability to multi-task and shift focus multiple times in a day.

*This position has an option for an onsite living arrangement.
