Description

The Manager is accountable to provide leadership and direction to resultsdriven teams and is accountable for maximizing staff development, performance, and engagement in alignment with departmental and corporate objectives. As a member of SaskPowers management team, this role manages the engineering activities required to support the licensing, design, and development of the Small Modular Reactor (SMR) program. Responsibilities include overseeing technical engineering deliverables, coordinating project management and scheduling from an engineering perspective, ensuring robust project controls, and fostering productive vendor relationships and partnerships to advance SMR engineering objectives.

The position supports informed decisionmaking and negotiations while ensuring alignment with SaskPowers expectations and provincial government strategic direction related to nuclear development.
