About the Job:
The Fleet Manager is responsible for overseeing the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of our petroleum fleet and delivery team. This role is critical in ensuring that fuel is delivered to our customers accurately, safely, and on time every time.

Duties and Responsibilities:
    Lead, coach, and manage drivers.
    Promote safety, service, and ongoing training.
    Support hiring and team development with HR.
    Manage maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
    Ensure compliance and maintain accurate records.
    Support fleet planning and replacements.
    Ensure regulatory compliance for fleet and drivers.
    Conduct audits, investigations, and evaluations.
    Enforce safety policies and reporting standards.
    Manage budgets and track performance metrics.
    Identify efficiencies and support strategic planning.
    Ensure high service levels and resolve delivery issues.
    Build relationships with vendors and partners.

Qualifications:
-Preferred experience in fleet management, logistics, petroleum transport, or commercial delivery operations.
-Leadership or supervisory experience overseeing drivers or transport teams.
-Petroleum or hazardous materials transport experience is an asset.
-Strong understanding of transportation regulations.
-Proficient with fleet management systems, logistics software, and digital record-keeping tools.
-Solid mechanical understanding of fleet equipment and maintenance best practices.
-Ability to interpret operational data and make informed decisions.
-Minimum class 3A drivers license required; 1A preferred
-Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills.
-Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
-Decisive problem solver with strong situational awareness.
-Commitment to safety excellence and regulatory compliance.
-Customer-focused mindset with the ability to build strong internal and external relationships.
