Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage core accounting functions, support financial reporting, and drive process improvements.

Key Responsibilities
*Manage payroll, benefits, pension plan administration, and journal entries.
*Prepare and review bank reconciliations; resolve discrepancies.
*Maintain inventory costing records, analyze variances, and ensure compliance.
*Support GST/PST filings, audits, and regulatory reporting.
*Supervise AP/AR staff; strengthen internal controls and procedures.
*Identify process improvements; assist with budgeting, forecasting, and KPI reporting.
*Support month-end/year-end close activities and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
*Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
*5+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in retail and ERP systems.
*Payroll expertise and knowledge of legislation and compliance.
*Strong inventory accounting and costing experience.
*Advanced Excel skills; ability to analyze large datasets.
*Self-motivated, detail-oriented, organized, and ethical.
