Southern Industrial & Truck is currently seeking a entry level Mechanics helper & Parts Washer person. You must be reliable & hardworking to join our team. In this position, you will be responsible for assisting mechanics by cleaning parts so they are ready for reassembly. Most of these parts are engine & transmission parts. You will also be required to operate a forklift and a overhead crane to move and stage parts. Training is available if need to operate the fork lift or crane. To succeed in this role, you should be physically fit. Our ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication, and a focus on increasing efficiency. It is equally important that they be willing and able to learn new skills and knowledge within the Service department. Duties are general labor in the shop cleaning and helping service techs as required.
