Logistics Dispatcher  Full Time

Were looking for a driven, detail-oriented Logistics Dispatcher to join our team. This role is responsible for coordinating customer orders, dispatching loads, and ensuring efficient, compliant movement of freight while supporting customer relationships and sales.

What Youll Do:

Plan and dispatch loads based on weights, dimensions, payloads, and axle regulations
Schedule loads up to two days in advance
Enter and manage orders in Axon, including routing, timelines, and required services (permits, wash, border documentation, etc.)
Communicate load details clearly to drivers via phone and satellite systems
Monitor fleet activity using GPS Tracking (minimum 3x daily; more frequently for time-sensitive loads)
Ensure Hours of Service compliance through daily driver check-ins
Track and audit load weights; report issues as needed
Coordinate driver schedules, including time-off requests
Handle customs paperwork and secure required permits
Support sales efforts by sourcing and pricing loads within targets
Coordinate basic fleet maintenance and on-road repairs ($0$1000)
Participate in an after-hours on-call rotation

What You Bring:

Strong organizational and communication skills
Experience in logistics/dispatch and truck routing (PC Miler an asset)
Solid computer skills and ability to learn new systems quickly
Problem-solving mindset and ability to work under pressure
Team-first attitude with strong attention to detail
