Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be mechanically skilled with an interest in serving the Fire Service.
As a Service Technician you will be testing, maintaining and repairing fire apparatus, fire pumps, and other firefighting equipment as required onsite at Fire Halls in Communities across Saskatchewan and in the Sea Hawk shop in Clavet, SK.

Job Requirements Abilities, Attitudes & Behaviors must include:
* Complete pump testing to NFPA standards.
* Execute basic and advanced repairs on trucks, pumps, and other firefighting equipment, apparatus and emergency vehicles.
* Ability to work as a team player or alone
* Self-motivated and takes initiative
* Critical thinking and the ability to work under pressure.
* Ability to grow in your learning and understanding while accepting constructive criticism.
* Willing to adhere to the core values, code of conduct, and confidentiality (where necessary) of the organization.

Education Requirements:
Required or ability to obtain:
* Beneficial skills include: knowledge about the fire service, experience in the customer service industry, experience in automotive or heavy-duty service industry.
* Class 3 license or higher with Air Brake Endorsement is an asset and will be required to obtain within 12 months of hiring.
* Basic mechanic tools or purchase tools as required.
