Description

W3M Land Management Inc. is currently seeking a full-time Intermediate Environmental Specialist. The position will be within the working areas of west-central and southwest Saskatchewan and southeast Alberta.

W3M Land Management Inc. has specialized in providing environmental services to the oil and gas industry since 2000.

W3M Land Management Inc. provides value added, risk based environmental consulting services to a rapidly expanding sector of the environmental industry throughout Western Canada in a safe and cost-effective manner.

W3M provides services to the oil and gas industry that are focused on environmental assessment, land reclamation and soil remediation. Services include: Asset Retirement project management, surface reclamation, environmental assessment and permitting, pre-site reclamation assessments, pre-site construction assessments, contamination investigations and contamination remediation.

Job Description and Key Responsibilities

Working knowledge of the Saskatchewan Acknowledgement of Reclamation Requirements.

Carry out Phase I ESA as per Saskatchewan Criteria.

Familiarity and the capacity to assist with Phase II ESA.

Plan and supervise surface reclamation and Phase III projects on oil and gas sites.

Familiar with reclamation techniques in various land uses.

Working knowledge of Saskatchewan Detailed Site Assessment requirements.

Ground Disturbance supervision and organization.

Supervision of heavy equipment contractors and organizers.

Complete reporting to clients and government agencies.

Collaboration with key groups such as landowners/stakeholders, regulatory, legal, and safety programs to execute project plans and schedules.

Implementation and integration of safe work practices and health and safety programs.
