As the Automotive Body Technician, you will play a key role in restoring vehicles to their original condition following accidents, wear and tear, or damage. You'll work on a wide variety of vehicles, ensuring they meet industry standards for safety, aesthetics, and performance.
The Technician has excellent communication skills and can listen and discern as well as execute all requirements in the restoration process. The technician can focus on the big picture without missing any of the details and deliver results. They continually strive to become an expert in their field so that the service provided is above customer expectations.
The Details
Be detail-oriented and Task oriented
Repair and replace damaged autobody parts such as doors, bumpers, fenders, and panels
Conduct a thorough inspection of vehicles to assess the extent of damage and determine the necessary repairs.
Sand, prime, and paint bodywork to restore a smooth and flawless finish.
Encourage compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Collaborate with the team to ensure repairs are completed to the highest quality and within set timeframes.
Perform a complete and thorough teardown to reveal all additional damages. Report all additional damages where applicable.
Match supplemental parts for correctness and advise parts, and production teams.

Complete the training offered by the dealership.
Stay up-to-date on all training programs.Be a champion for delivering excellent service at all times.
Actively maintain the cleanliness of personal and team workspaces.
Maintain a high level of professional appearance.
Education & Experience
Successful applicant will hold a journeyperson certificate in Motor Vehicle Body Repair and a minimum of 5 years experience working on modern vehicles using the latest repair equipment and repair procedures. Computer knowledge, I-CAR training, and factory OE training is an asset.
