Ghost Transportation Services is looking for an experienced Fleet Dispatcher to manage day-to-day operations of our trucks, drivers, and customers freight. This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for someone who understands how to run trucks efficiently, solve problems quickly, and keep drivers moving without constant oversight.
Youll be working across:
20 company drivers and equipment
Freight brokerage coordination
Dock scheduling and communication
What Youll Be Responsible For
Dispatching company drivers across local, regional and U.S. runs
Coordinating pickups, deliveries, and route planning
Communicating with drivers, customers, and internal teams
Managing delays, breakdowns, and service issues in real time
Working alongside our brokerage and warehouse teams to keep freight flowing
Monitoring driver performance, ETAs, and service levels
Organize paperwork to support accurate invoicing
Troubleshoot issues with occasional after-hours planning and truck/trailer repairs when required
What Were Looking For
Minimum 23 years dispatching experience in trucking/logistics (required)
Strong understanding of freight operations, routing, and scheduling
Ability to stay calm under pressure and make quick decisions
Strong communication skills with drivers and customers
Comfortable working independently
Experience with dispatch software / fleet tracking systems
