Description

The Town of Nipawin is seeking a Curling Ice Technician/Event & Facility Maintenance who is motivated, reliable, and self-directed individual to join the Leisure Services Department as a Full-Time Semi-Skilled Labourer at the Nipawin Evergreen Centre.

This is a multi-functional position responsible for curling ice maintenance, event setup and teardown, and facility maintenance. The successful candidate must be able to work independently and support a wide range of operations within Leisure Services.

Qualifications
-Valid Class 5 Driver's License
-Experience in arenas, curling ice, or facility maintenance is an asset.
-Ability to perform basic plumbing repairs is a requirement.
-Mechanical aptitude is considered an asset
-Physically Demanding position
-Frequent lifting of up to 50lbs.
-Willingness to obtain required certifications, including but not limited to Curling Ice Tech Level 1 & 2 and Arena Operators Certificate.
