Position Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable, hands-on Horticulturalist to support the establishment and early-stage maintenance of commercial landscape projects. In this role, you will ensure newly installed plant material thrives, site conditions are optimized, and landscapes successfully transition from installation to long-term maintenance.

The ideal candidate brings strong horticultural expertise, practical field experience, and the ability to lead and support field crews while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.

Qualifications & Skills

Diploma or degree in Horticulture, Landscape Horticulture, Environmental Science, or a related field
2+ years of experience in horticulture, landscape maintenance, or commercial landscape establishment
Experience leading or supervising field crews is an asset
Strong knowledge of plant identification, plant physiology, soil science, and regional climate considerations
Ability to diagnose plant health issues and recommend evidence-based solutions
Familiarity with irrigation systems and water management principles
Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
Valid drivers license
Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
