Description

Diamond Asphalt Repair is looking for an experienced Equipment Operator and/or Tandem Truck Driver. We are a Saskatchewan based Asphalt Repair company specializing in Chip Sealing, Rubber Crack Sealing & Hot-Mix Patching & Overlay. The business is located in Watrous Sk.
Position Overview:
We are seeking skilled and dedicated members to join our team. Tentative position start date: April 27, 2026.
Duties
Operate a variety of equipment including skid steer, backhoe, chip spreader, broom/sweeper tractors, packer, rubber kettle trailer, and heavy trucks.
Adhere to the company Health & Safety Plan to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Equipment Pre/Post Operation Inspections
Report to the supervisor any unsafe/hazardous conditions including damage on equipment in order for corrective measures to be taken.
Communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors, clients & general public.
Laborer duties will be required to be completed as needed.
Follow project plans and specifications to execute tasks accurately and efficiently.
Collaborate with team members to coordinate equipment usage and project timelines.
Perform basic mechanical troubleshooting and repairs as necessary.
Transport equipment or materials between job sites.
Qualifications
Possess a strong work ethic & reliable to work independently and/or within the crew.
Proven experience operating PME equipment.
Commitment to working safely with a strong understanding of safety standards in construction environments.
Perform daily equipment start-up checklists & regular maintenance on various equipment.
Mechanical knowledge related to heavy machinery & truck maintenance and troubleshooting.
Valid driver's license required.
