The Ministry of Highways offers an opportunity to support Saskatchewans transportation system as an Equipment Operator in the Spiritwood Section. Candidates must be comfortable working flexible hours, performing physically and mentally demanding tasks, and working in extreme and shifting weather conditions.
To qualify, candidates must hold a valid Class 1A drivers licence and be prepared to provide a current driver abstract if selected for an interview. The position requires physical stamina for heavy lifting and physical labour, as well as basic computer skills to manage email, complete timecards and expense claims, and maintain required records.
Responsibilities include operating, servicing, and maintaining heavy equipment such as tandem trucks with specialized attachments, motor graders, and frontend loaders during summer and winter maintenance.
