Description

Regina Housing provides appropriate and affordable housing to those most in need. We are currently looking for one Tenant Relations Officer to join our Housing Program team.

The Tenant Relations Officers (TROs) are responsible for all aspects of tenant selection, placement, support and service referrals. Our TROs provide each tenant with suitable placement based on need and current vacancies. TROs establish an ongoing relationship with tenants to facilitate successful tenancies by addressing complaints, assessing complex needs, and assisting to secure adequate support. Our TROs work closely with agencies and support services to address specific requirements of each tenant.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge in community development, social programs and non-profit administration
- Excellent communications skills with emphasis on interpersonal skills, mediation and conflict resolution
- Ability to interpret Acts and regulations and apply policies and procedures
- Ability to prioritize and organize in a demanding environment
- Critical thinking skills
- A high degree of self-initiation, reliability and flexibility
- Experience working with high-risk populations

Qualifications:
- A Degree in Social Work, Nursing, Social Sciences (or related discipline) combined with related experience
- A clear and satisfactory Criminal Record Check
- Access to a reliable vehicle and a valid Class 5 driver's license
