In this role, you will:
-Provide primary health care and maintenance of illness/injury of all on-site personnel, including employees and contractors.
-Develop and deliver educational programs related to your field.
-Provide patient counselling.
-Perform routine employee health tests.
-Manage and maintain medical monitoring programs as they relate to Camecos health and safety policies on site.
-Rotate between Camecos northern mine locations.
Required:
-registered nurse, eligible for registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS);
-three or more years of relevant nursing experience, in a rural or remote setting;
-excellent decision-making, interpersonal and communication skills; and
-work a rotational schedule of one week on, one week off, and commute to site by aircraft.
Recommended:
-critical and/or pre-hospital care, International Trauma Life Support, TNCC, advanced cardiac life support, audiometric technician, or -occupational health nursing certifications.
