Duties and responsibilities:
The Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) Community Support Supervisor coordinates the delivery of the ABI Community Support Program, providing leadership to Support Workers who support clients 1:1 in meaningful community activities, promoting the personal growth and social rehabilitation of adults with disabilities.
Duties include:
-  Participant screening, admissions & matching clients with support workers
-  Supporting development & implementation of rehabilitation plans and connecting clients to personal and social rehabilitation opportunities
-  Hiring, coordinating, scheduling, and providing direction, guidance and supervision to support workers
-  Program promotion, community outreach, and assisting to expand client opportunities
-  Reporting to SaskAbilities, community partners and funders as required
-  Provide direct community support services as needed.
-  Supporting activities of daily living, socially appropriate behaviours, and implementing strategies
-  Coordinating transportation as required
-  Documenting client progress, outcomes, and concerns
-  Responsible for overseeing client funding allocations within a fee-for-service model, including annual budgeting, financial projections, and accurate, timely billing processes.
-  Various administrative duties

Qualifications:

Education:
-  Bachelors degree in Human Services or related field; equivalent education & experience may be considered.
Experience:
-  2 to 3 years in human services - experience supporting individuals with disabilities preferred.
Skills:
-  Valid Class 5 drivers license & access to a reliable vehicle required (ability to transport 14 participants).
