Description

In this role, you will:
-Work within a team of technical experts to understand the data requirements and optimise their use within supply chain management.
-Improve business processes and drive innovation using business data and analytics.
-Be responsible for developing creative dashboards, front-end visualizations and data modelling that will provide decision support capabilities.
-Be part of an exciting digital transformation journey, as Cameco matures from descriptive to more predictive and prescriptive data analytics.
-Work a hybrid schedule at Camecos Saskatoon head office.

Required:
-bachelors degree in computer science, engineering, data science, statistics, operations research, economics, or mathematics;
-Experience with SAP in the following areas: Supply Chain, Plan to Pay, Materials Management and Finance;
-minimum five years of applicable work experience;
-strong knowledge of data visualization best practices and techniques;
-experience with data curation, report creation, key performance indicator (KPI) development and statistical analysis;
-analytical skills, including strong SQL query knowledge; and
-self starter and ability to understand business need and execute work independently.

Recommended:
-experience working with an enterprise data warehouse  BigQuery, Azure or equivalent;
-experience with business reporting tools  Power BI, Looker, Tableau, SSRS or equivalent;
-experience with ETL tools (Dataform, Apache Airflow, SSIS, or others);
-experience working with SAP technologies  S/4 HANA, CDS views, SAP Analytics Cloud; and
-exposure to predictive analytics, Python, SAS or equivalent.
