Council Officers provide executive administrative support and expert guidance on procedure and protocol to City Council and its committees, boards and commissions. This role coordinates and supports meetings, manages legislative timelines, prepares records and materials, and advises members to ensure effective, transparent and well run decision making.
What You Bring
- Strong knowledge of governance procedures, legislation and meeting protocol
- Exceptional organization, focus and attention to detail in fast paced environments
- Proven ability to research, prepare and manage confidential and public records
- Confidence advising elected officials, staff and community members with professionalism
