C-Merak is a Canadian innovator in plant-based ingredients, specializing in high quality faba bean and pulse proteins, flours, and fibres. We are growing our team in Tisdale, Saskatchewan and looking for a skilled safety-driven Industrial Mechanic-Welder to join our dry milling production facility. WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Assemble, align, and commission mechanical components, equipment and production systems
- Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair complex industrial machinery, processing equipment and facility systems
- Execute preventative maintenance programs, identify root causes and implement corrective actions to reduce downtime and extend equipment life
- Interpret technical drawings, mechanical schematics, blueprints and manuals
- Perform welding, fabrication and metalwork to repair, modify or improve equipment, guarding and structural components
- Assist with plant enhancements and upgrades
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders and documentation
- Adhere to Health & Safety, GMP and Food Safety policies and standards

WHAT YOU WILL BRING
- 5+ years experience as an Industrial Mechanic/Welder in manufacturing or agriculture-related industries (Experience in food production is an asset)
- Proven track record in maintenance, inspections and problem solving
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
- Able to work shift assignments
- Legally entitled to work in Canada with excellent English verbal and written communication skills
