Job Opportunity: Automotive Service Technician (NOC 72410)
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automotive Service Technician to join our dedicated team. Key Responsibilities
-Advanced Diagnostics: Use computerized diagnostic equipment and other testing devices to isolate and identify faults in mechanical and electrical systems.
-Comprehensive Repairs: Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components including fuel systems, brakes, steering and suspension, engine and drive trains, emission control, exhaust, and climate control.
-Electrical Expertise: Perform intricate repairs on electrical and electronic systems, including wiring harnesses, sensors, and control modules.
-System Testing: Road test vehicles and test repaired systems against manufacturers performance specifications to ensure safety and reliability.
-Maintenance & Service: Perform scheduled maintenance services such as oil changes, lubrications, and tune-ups.
-Documentation: Review work orders, discuss work with supervisors, and complete detailed reports on problems found and work performed.
Candidate Requirements
We are looking for a seasoned professional who meets one of the following two criteria:
Certified Journeyperson: * Hold a valid Red Seal Endorsement or Provincial Trade Certification.
Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience in automotive repair.
Experienced Non-Certified Professional:
NOTE: Candidates without a Red Seal or formal trade certification are welcome to apply provided they have a minimum of 10+ years of verifiable experience in the trade.
