Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week including 4 per month evening team meetings
The Kinship Home Coordinator is responsible for providing a healthy, supportive, and vibrant quality of care for children in a group home setting. The individual in this role oversees daily home operations, including cooking, cleaning, and laundrywhile delivering consistent, trauma-informed care. The coordinator supports structured daily routines and works collaboratively with the House Manager and team to create a safe and nurturing environment
Qualifications:
Experience cooking for groups (minimum 1 year preferred)
Safe Food Handling certification
Experience working with children or vulnerable populations is an asset
Knowledge of the child welfare system, trauma informed care, and family violence is essential
Ability to work independently and with a team
Accurate record-keeping ability and basic computer skills
Good communication and organizational abilities
Proven crisis intervention skills
Cultural awareness, and respect for women and children of various backgrounds
Class 5 drivers license
Valid First Aid/CPR certification
