Description

The Gravel Crusher Foreman is responsible for supervising and coordinating all crushing operations, ensuring production targets are met safely, efficiently, and to specification. This role oversees a crew, manages equipment, and maintains quality control of aggregate products.
Operations Management
        Oversee daily crushing operations including setup, production, and tear-down
        Ensure production targets (yards/tonnage) are achieved
        Monitor material quality and ensure compliance with specifications
        Coordinate feed material, stockpiling, and product flow
Crew Supervision
        Lead and supervise crusher operators, loader operators, and ground crew
        Assign daily tasks and manage workflow
        Train and mentor crew members
        Enforce company policies and safe work practices
Equipment & Maintenance
        Coordinate routine maintenance and repairs of crushers, screens, conveyors, and support equipment
        Perform regular inspections of the crushing plant
        Work closely with mechanics to minimize downtime
        Assist with troubleshooting mechanical issues when required
Safety & Compliance
        Enforce all safety procedures and regulations
        Conduct toolbox talks and safety meetings
        Ensure proper use of PPE and safe operation of equipment
Logistics & Reporting
        Track daily production and operational performance
        Maintain reports on equipment hours, maintenance, and material output
        Coordinate mobilization and demobilization of crushing spreads
        Communicate with management regarding progress, issues, and needs

        Conveyors and stackers
        Loaders, excavators, and haul trucks
Qualifications
        Extensive experience in gravel crushing and aggregate production
        Previous supervisory or foreman experience preferred
        Strong knowledge of crushing equipment and maintenance practices
        Ability to read and understand material specifications and production targets
        Valid drivers license
