Description

We are currently seeking a Surface Coatings Installer to join our team. This is an individual who is a self-starter with an energetic personality and results oriented work style, strong communication and client-facing skills, and meticulous attention to detail.

Responsibilities:
Install various coatings systems both indoors and outdoors
Operate walk-behind grinder, self-leveling equipment, vacuums, burnisher machine, walk behind scrubber, shot blaster, power tools, hand tools, and other related equipment
Take direction from supervisors to perform manual labor tasks such as sanding, stripping, mixing, taping, nailing, loading and unloading equipment, etc
Lead by example and strictly maintain all occupational health and safety regulations, rules, and policies
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and phasing plans
Handle and transport materials and equipment

Requirements:
Physically able to stand, walk, kneel, lift and carry up to 50lbs, and perform other physical and repetitive tasks for extended periods
Knowledge and experience to install coating systems and operate related tools and equipment.
Strong client-facing and internal communication and rapport development abilities
Ability to follow instruction and work as part of a team, or self-direct and work independently
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and meet deadlines
Willing and able to work evenings and weekends as required

Physical Demands:
Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and crouching
Lifting, and carrying loads up to 50lbs
Operation of powered equipment
Generate up to 125 lbs. of push/pull force to maneuver equipment/supplies
20/20 vision, depth perception, and ability to focus

Starting wages at $18/hour, negotiable based on experience.
