The Office Administrator is the first person guests and employees see when they enter our office building. The primary role of the Office Administrator is to ensure employees have support to work efficiently. Working to support the Companys operations and employees, the Office Administrator creates processes, manages employee data, performs clerical tasks, tracks information in databases, creates and distributes a variety of communication materials, plans and coordinates events and manages company media.
Qualifications
Post secondary education in business admin, marketing, or related field preferred
1-2 years office administrative and/or marketing experience is an asset
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Power Point, Teams)
Strong customer service skillset
Friendly and positive personality with strong interpersonal skills
Creative thinker
Highly organized & detail oriented
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Greeting and assisting guests and employees
Direct calls and respond to general inquiries via phone & email
Receive incoming packages and distribute mail
Receive, sort, allocate, file and vet a variety of time sensitive documents
Run various errands including mail collection, bank deposits and business purchases
Maintain our electronic & paper filing system across a range of departments
Assist with creating and updating budgets for a variety of internal projects
Update employee information into a variety of databases
Develop and distribute company newsletters and a variety of other communications
Create posts for company social media platforms
Manage and update company website
Plan & coordinate company events/parties
Design and order company merchandise
Create and distribute a variety of company information to staff
