Our large enterprise client is seeking a Junior Facilities Assistant to support mailroom operations, reception coverage, and related administrative tasks.
This is an initial 5-month engagement with potential for extension. The successful candidate will be based in Saskatoon and agreeable to working full-time onsite.
Must-Haves:
- 5+ years of mailroom and courier experience in a fast-paced corporate environment
- Previous reception experience
- Ability to lift 30 lbs weight
- Strong background in customer service and professional client communications
Key Responsibilities:
- Send, receive, and distribute mail, courier packages, and deliveries
- Prepare customs documentation as required
- Create requisitions, process invoices, and coordinate payment arrangements
- Maintain and coordinate servicing of mailroom equipment, including postage machine, scale, and mail scanner
- Provide reception coverage as needed
- Assist with facilities management tasks, including replenishing supplies and supporting meeting room and event setup
- Coordinate and support on-site deliveries, including catering
- Provide general support to the Facilities Management team as required
