Description

Responsibilities:

-Assist clients with check-in/checkout processes - provide excellent customer service and communication with pet owners
-Follow individual feeding schedules and care instructions for each dog
-Administer medications as directed
-Maintain a high standard of cleanliness through frequent cleaning and disinfecting of rooms, outdoor runs, playrooms and outdoor yards
-Clean and sanitize dishes, beds, toys and play equipment daily, laundry as needed
-Complete multiple daily walks (approximately 1 km per walk) for several dogs
-Monitor for signs of illness, injury, stress, or anxiety and report concerns promptly
-Communicate effectively with management regarding dog behavior, health, and any incidents

Must be:

-Comfortable handling dogs of all breeds, sizes, energy levels, and temperaments
-Willing to get dirty (cleaning, accidents, shedding, mud etc. are part of the job)
-Able and willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions
-Confident setting boundaries and maintaining structure with dogs
-Available weekends and evenings
