Battlefords Agency Tribal Chiefs is seeking an experienced, knowledgeable, and self-motivated individual to serve as the Jordans Principle Intake Worker. In the accordance with Indigenous Services Canadas Jordons Principle initiative, providing every First Nations and Aboriginal Child with the care that is needed is a shared responsibility and a priority.

Duties & Responsibilities

    Work with and support the Service Coordinator.
    Serve as a contact person in their community/service area for social requests
    Support families to access available supports in their community.
    Verify eligibility of the child prior to approving funds.
    Confirm that the recommendation letter is appropriate for the requested service or support and in the best interests of the child.
    Document case files.
    Maintain records and invoices on file for audit purposes

Qualifications

    Must have a diploma from an accredited post-secondary institute in office administration and/or equivalent combination of a minimal of 2-3 years work related experience
