The Jordans Principle Procurement Clerk will be responsible for assisting the Centre Manager with Administrative and financial tasks. Procurement clerks play a vital role in managing purchasing activities, ensuring efficient acquisition of goods and services and maintaining accurate records. Handle the administrative aspects of purchasing good and services for Jordans Principle.
Duties & Responsibilities
Manage procurement activities including sourcing, purchasing, and vendor management to ensure timely supply of goods procured.
Utilize Accounting software systems such as SAGE to process purchase orders, track inventory levels, and update procurement records.
Coordinate with suppliers to negotiate pricing, lead times, and terms to optimize costs and delivery schedules.
Assist in the evaluation of vendors and maintain supplier performance records.
Collaborate with internal departments to understand procurement needs and facilitate effective communication across supply chain functions.
Qualifications
Must have a diploma from an accredited post-secondary institute in office administration and/or equivalent combination of a minimal of 2-3 years work related experience
Strong understanding of vendor management, pricing strategies, and negotiation techniques.
